Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired from 2015 to present. Her previous work was recognized by playing an 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through an emotional journey in set against the backdrop of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later that year she was named among Variety's 10 Actors To Be Watching. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she played a strong female lead character, Taslima Jhangir and was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the top actress. Also, she acted as a co-lead and guest in Lucky 7 and other films like the film Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
